Track and Field Sets Up Saturday at State Championships

The Brophy track and field program stands in 18th place overall with five points with six finals contested. Brophy 

The Broncos advanced Jack Sebald and William DeSpong in the 110m hurdles after finishing second and third on Thursday. Senior Marlon Colbert qualified fifth in the 100 meters in a personal-best 10.71. The 4x100m relay had a season-best and is the top seed entering Saturday after posting a 41.77.

Senior Luca Cannizzo was the third-best qualifier in the 400 meters, while Sebald came back to place second in the 300m hurdles. Ryan DeKoning qualified for the 200m final on Saturday, clocking 22.19 to place eighth. The 4x400m relay qualified fourth and looks to be a contender on Saturday.

Brophy will also be represented in the long jump and shot put on Saturday.
