Volleyball’s Connor Oldani Named 6A Conference Player of the Year; Oldani Coach of the Year

Senior Connor Oldani was recognized as the 6A Conference Player of the Year, while Head Coach Tony Oldani was named the 6A Conference Coach of the Year after leading his team to the Region and State titles. The awards are voted on by the state’s coaches. 

Connor Oldani, a Grand Canyon University commit, led the state in kills (543) and hitting percentage (.522), ranking fourth and seventh nationally. He was also named the Premier Region Player of the Year after helping the Broncos to the 2024 6A State Championship.

The 2024 6A State Champions had two players earn first-team accolades. Junior setter Colin Zimmerman and sophomore setter were also named on the all-state first team. Zimmerman ranked seventh nationally in assists (1,038, 9.1 per set) as the first-team setter. Sophomore Jude Keene was the first-team libero after ranking among state leaders in digs.
