State-Best Tying Nine Broncos Earn All-Arizona Honors

The Brophy athletic department, led by Coach of the Year Finalist Tony Oldani, shone brightly at the Arizona High School Sports Awards presented by Diamond Kitchen and Bath. Three All-Arizona selections, including Johnny Casale (baseball), Connor Oldani (volleyball), and Theodore Neilson (Swimming), represented the department in person. Brophy had a remarkable nine All-Arizona selections, which tied them with Liberty for the most in the state.

Volleyball standout Connor Oldani was named the Arizona State Boys Volleyball Player of the Year, highlighting the night for the Broncos. Head Coach Tony Oldani was also one of three Arizona Boys Coach of the Year finalists, joining Hosea Graham of Combs High School basketball and Joey Ortiz of Canyon View wrestling among the finalists.

Brophy had two representatives on the All-Arizona golf team, Tyler Spielman and Henry Dal, two on the All-Arizona football team, Cree Thomas and Logan Powell, Ryan Zerbob from tennis, and Carson Collier-Ehrich from volleyball.

Thirteen Broncos earned All-Arizona honorable mention accolades.
