Brophy Senior Elected as President of Key Club International

NEWS RELEASE

INDIANAPOLIS – David Robaina of Phoenix will serve as the 2024-25 president for Key Club International — the largest international student-led service and leadership organization for high school students. Robaina was elected during the 2024 Key Club International Convention in Atlanta, Georgia.

Robaina, a senior at Brophy College Preparatory, joined Key Club during his freshman year to develop leadership skills. His hobbies include football, musical theater and student council.

“I’m most excited to increase Key Club’s relevancy and impact on global, national and local stages,” says Robaina.

“I first realized how big a difference a Key Club could make in a community after my home club hosted a Secret Santa for the Boys and Girls Club of Scottsdale,” Robaina adds. “We shopped for Christmas presents with young kids whose families couldn’t afford new toys, and it was amazing to see such a joyful and loving group of people.”

Key Club is part of the Kiwanis International family of Service Leadership Programs. Members embrace opportunities to serve, build character and develop leadership skills while making a local and global impact. There are 75 Key Clubs in Arizona.
