Freshman Football Interest Meeting

A Freshman Football Interest meeting will be held on April 9, 7:25 p.m. in the Dutch Gymnasium. Parents and student-athletes should attend to learn more about playing Freshman football.

Here are the dates for the spring camp. 

Freshman Football Spring Camp*
Week of April 22 (T to F): 6:00-8:00 p.m.
Week of April 28 (M to TH), 6:00-8:00 p.m.

All participants must have a waiver signed to participate.

Freshman Summer Football 
Starting Tuesday, May 27, freshman football workouts will be held from 5:50 a.m. to 7:35 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until June 27th. Players also have weight training daily after school, M-F, 2:30*-3:45 p.m. All players must turn in their AIA physical form to Brophy to participate in these events.



Speedflex True Helmet Fitting (NOT MANDATORY)
Brophy and Riddell offer any athlete who wants their personal helmet the opportunity to be laser fit for the Speedflex “True Fit” helmet on April 29th. The athlete would purchase this helmet for the football season. The cost to the family is 867.00. If your child’s head grows through the 4 years, we would reach out to the Riddell rep to re-scan for $40. Brophy provides anyone participating in football with a Speedflex helmet during the season. The Speedflex the school uses is a helmet with a high rating from the NFLPL association.  Again, the “True Fit” is an option if the family and athlete choose a personal custom helmet. 

The Speedflex true fit is a laser measure of the individual's head to create a custom fit for the athlete's head. The helmet would come in scarlet red with a white face mask that all Brophy teams play in during the season. Brophy already uses Speedflex so all accessory pieces are also easy to change with the personal helmet. If you are interested in this for your son. Please complete the form to schedule the fitting for April 29, 2025, 4:30 PM at the sports campus in the JV locker room. Once signed up, more information will be provided.
