A Freshman Football Interest meeting will be held on April 10, 7:25 p.m. in the Robson Gymnasium. Parents and student-athletes should attend to learn more about playing Freshman football. Here are the dates for the spring camp. All participants must have a waiver signed to participate.
Starting Wednesday, May 29, freshman football workouts will be held from 5:50 to 7:35 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday until June 26. Players also have weight training daily after school, M-F, 2:30*-3:45 p.m. All players must turn in their AIA physical form to Brophy to participate in these events.
Brophy and Riddell offer any athlete who wants their helmet the opportunity to be laser fit for the Speedflex “True Fit” helmet on April 23rd. The athlete would purchase this helmet for the football season. The cost to the family is 699.00. If your child’s head grows through the 4 years, we will contact the Riddell rep to re-scan for $40. Brophy provides anyone participating in football with a Speedflex helmet during the season. The Speedflex is a helmet that the NFLPL association highly rates. Again the “True Fit” is an option if a personal custom helmet is the choice of the family and athlete.
The Speedflex true fit is a laser measure of the individual's head to create a custom fit for the athlete's head. The helmet would come in the scarlet red with a white face mask that all Brophy teams play in during the season. Brophy already uses Speedflex, so all accessory pieces are easily changed with the personal helmet. If you are interested in this for your son. Please fill out the form to schedule the fitting for Apr 23, 2024, time TBD. Once signed up, more information will be provided.
