Brophy Rowing Represented at the USRowing Youth National Championship 

Recent graduate Ian O’Riley ‘24 and rising junior Brody Jennings will compete at the USRowing Youth National Championship this weekend in Sarasota, Fla. 
 
O’Riley will compete in the Men’s Youth 1x time trials on Thursday at 7:30 EDT (4:30 a.m. in Arizona) to qualify. Boats advance based on time for the semifinals on Friday at 7:30 a.m. EDT to determine whether a boat qualifies for the A Final or B Finals on Sunday.  
 
Jenning’s Men’s U17 1x time trials start at 2:05 EDT (11:05 in MST Arizona).
 
Both qualified at the USRowing Southwest Regional Championships in May. 
 
O’Riley, who signed with Harvard, finished third in the U19 men’s singles in the Grand Final at the 2023 USRowing Youth National Championships and was second in 2022. He will participate in the U.S. U19 National Team trials July 5-7 in West Windsor, N.J., looking to earn a spot in the single skull. This will be the first National Championships for Jennings.
