Cross Country Places 10th at AIA State Championships

The Broncos finished 10th at the AIA State Championships at the Cave Creek Golf Course on November 2. Senior Santiago Sanchez was 14th overall to lead the Broncos, while seniors Evan Giesecke and Ryan Rastad were the second and third runners to cross the line for Brophy.
 
Sanchez finished with a medal (top 21) for the second consecutive season after finishing ninth as a junior. Giesecke had a personal-best 17:06 to finish his senior campaign, while classmate Ryan Rastad was 63rd overall in 17:15, improving his time over a minute from last season.
 
The Broncos scored 281 points, placing 10th in the team standings. This was the team's 17th consecutive season with a top-10 finish.
 
Junior Josiah Colburt was the fourth finisher for the team in 87th (17:36), with sophomore Diego Alejos in 90th (17:39) and sophomore Lucas Horst in 93rd (17:41). Colin St. Hilaire crossed in 18:35 (141st).
